The light reflection of the water surface shows various levels. In addition to the image itself and its movements, time will show up and is conserved in one single moment of standstill. But it is also a reflecting surface, a mirror into ourselves. The often very big woodcuts, which take a long time to make, slow down time by stretching the moment of taking the digital photo from a split second to entire weeks, until the print is ready. This is a conceptual strategy to illustrate the illusion of movement, represented by real time.
